Chicken and Onion Kebabs

Ingredients
Chicken breast
Onions

Marinade
Olive oil
Garlic Puree
Adobo Seasoning
Black Pepper
Mixed Herbs

You will also need some wooden kebab sticks (skewers) and a griddle pan.

Method
  1. Cut the chicken breast into small cubes and put it in a food bag.
  2. Put the olive oil into a bowl.
  3. Add the garlic puree, adobo seasoning, black pepper and mixed herbs (you can put a lot if you like it spicy, but put a little if you don't).
  4. Mix all the marinade ingredients together.
  5. Then put the marinade in the food bag with the chicken and use your hands to rub the marinade into the chicken.
  6. Then put it in the fridge for an hour or two hours.
  7. Then chop some onions into big pieces and put them into another food bag and put some olive oil in.
  8. Put the onions in the fridge.

Soak your kebab sticks (skewers) in water. After a few hours, take the chicken and the onions out of the fridge and start threading them onto the kebab skewers.

I like to do 2 pieces of chicken, then an onion and keep repeating it until you get to the top of the skewer.

Then ask an adult to put the kebabs on a hot grill pan for a few minutes until it's brown.
Don't forget to turn the kebab over so it can cook on the other side.

If you like you can serve the kebab with pitta bread and salad.

Enjoy
